Meredith O'Donovan, a young Irish woman, lives with her six-year-old son Ian in Cortaun, a small town in Ireland. His father abandoned them as soon as the child was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder. The boy constantly causes problems with his behaviour which sometimes pushes his mother to her limits. Until one day he begins to react in an almost paranoid manner. She furiously draws strange pictures, repeats unfamiliar words and mentions places and names she doesn't know, asking to take him to his mother. The only one who seems to take his words seriously is her sister, Shirley, who is a teacher. Everything her nephew mentions seems to have something to do with the Greek island of Crete. But how is it possible that a six-year-old child, who cannot yet read, knows so many details about places and names of this Greek island? The boy's behaviour is so bizarre that it raises huge questions; such that the two women decide to visit the island. With unique research evidence of his drawings, words and names, they are led to a village in Lassithi, Anatoli, where half a century ago a tragic event occurred, with a strange disappearance that devastated families and scarred the village. And Ian seems to have something to do with this event... THE MEETING OF THE SOULS WHO HAVE LOST THE LOVE OF ADICO IS AT THE 13th GATE OF CLEANSING.
